BlumShapiro recently held the MSADA Dealership CEO & CFO Forum. Blum is the largest regional business advisory firm based in New England with offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. The forum was held in conjunction with the Massachusetts State Automobile Dealers Association, Inc. (MSADA), The event took place at the Verve-Crowne Plaza Hotel in Natick on December 13, 2018.
Topics covered during the daylong forum included “An Overview of Vehicle Subscription Services,” by Taylor Sandusky of Clutch Technologies; “Implementation of the New Lease Accounting Standard,” by Christopher S. Ernest, CPA, MSM of BlumShapiro; a “Tax Reform Update,” by Richard C. Parmelee, CPA of BlumShapiro; “Performing Human Resources ‘Health’ Assessments,” by Amy E. Allen, SPHR of BlumShapiro; and a “Wage and Hour Litigation Update,” by Brendan J. Lowd and Katharine O. Beattie, both of Mintz Levin. John D. Spatcher, CPA, a partner at BlumShapiro, welcomed the group.
